5'9" THRUSTER

New to the Surf Series this year is the 5'9" Thruster. Based on the movement in surfing for smaller, thicker shapes, the 5'9" is a board that can handle ariels as easy as it can handle classic top-to-bottom surf style. By putting more thickness under your front foot, the 5'9" allows you to shift your weight under your feet and not lose the sweet spot. Lining up for an off-the-lip topturn or landing switch back onto the wave face is easier because of the shape of the 5'9".

The 5'9" is also the board that will perform the best in larger, over-head waves. With a drawn in round tail, thruster fin set-up, and double concave, it stays loose and fast for down the line surf style. If you are looking for a board that performs in a wide range of conditions, but has that little something extra when you want to punt some airs or pull into a barrel, the 5'9" will deliver.
